The CMI Warehouse project is a multi year, multi phase development effort that will build the information foundation to support numerous informational and analytical capabilities.<br><br><br><br>The CMI Business Production team is a business team responsible for the operational support of the CMI warehouse.  This team is responsible for guaranteeing the business community properly understands how to harness the power of the data contained within the warehouse. The ratemaking database, which collects data for actuarial analysis, is supported by this team.<br><br><br><br>The CMI Warehouse Production Lead position is a leadership role responsible for the daily direction of the CMI Business Production team.  This leadership role reports to the 2nd VP of Shared Business Intelligence and works closely with our CMI Development teams, IT teams and VP of Shared Business Intelligence Data Management.<br><br><br><br>PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:<br><br>The focus of this position will be to support the business community-s analytic needs, specifically making sure they understand how to leverage the potential of the CMI Warehouse.  Additionally, this position will lead a team responsible for production and enhancements of the CMI Warehouse.   The CMI Business Production team responsibilities will grow as more and more deliverables move from development to production. This position will:<br><br><br><br>-  Work with business/MI community to understand how CMI Warehouse can satisfy their current and future business intelligence needs.<br><br>-  Work with business and IT to create and maintain CMI Warehouse data training and user documentation libraries.<br><br>-  Drive specifications and issue resolution in support of monthly production versions. Your technical OLAP experience combined with your strong project leadership, management and people skills are needed to continually improve reporting tools and produce robust, high quality financial and management information.<br><br><br><br>As part of the Shared Finance Data and Infrastructure team, you will be part of a fast-paced, challenging work environment where strategic development and tactical solutions are integral to effectively supporting all markets within Business Insurance.<br><br><br><br>PRIMARY DUTIES:<br><br>This position's principal responsibility is to ensure an accurate, controlled, and secured data environment to enhance our internal business customers' ability to report on a wide variety of information needed to make the daily decisions that drive growth and profitability in the insurance market.   Our Data and Infrastructure team is continually improving how data is utilized, modeled, and presented to senior management with an emphasis on upgrading the use of Cognos TM1, Business Intelligence tools and other data sources.<br><br><br><br>During the execution of your technical responsibilities, you are accountable for all aspects of the project development life cycle and engineering complex integrative processes.  Lead a team of Business Analysts and Application Modelers to develop functional and data requirements for initiatives and support for new and existing projects including communication, rollout and training.  Implementing industry best practices are key to governing data standards and data consistencies.<br><br><br><br>As the Technical Lead for the Planning & Forecasting cycles, you often work closely with business customers, peers within Financial Reporting and other Information Technology areas.
