Doing the right thing for our customers, communities and coworkers is at the heart of our culture. Through corporate funding and the Travelers Foundation, we focus on supporting initiatives that improve academic and career success, develop thriving neighborhoods and create culturally enriched communities.

We contributed more than $25 million to the communities where we live and work, for a total of more than $218 million over the past decade. But it’s more than financial contributions. Our employees are strong corporate citizens and valuable assets to their hometowns.

In 2018, our employees gave more than 120,000 hours of their time toward important causes. They also donated more than $3.3 million toward the company’s Community Connections Campaign, which supports thousands of nonprofits, including the United Way. And we do what we can to support our employees’ community initiatives. In 2018, we gave more than $2.3 million to match employee donations and provide grants for time donated by employees to nonprofits and more than $925,000 in funding toward employee volunteer initiatives that helped nonprofits across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
