Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$116,900.00 – $192,900.00

The Sr. Manager, Actuarial and Analytics is an analytic leadership role that encompasses the management of assigned strategic initiatives and operational assignments which may include reserving, rate-making, pricing, planning/forecasting, project management and research. The individual in this role is expected to lead project teams of actuarial & analytic partners and provide analytical insights and recommendations to leadership and Business partners. The Sr. Manager, Actuarial and Analytics will work within broad limits and authority on complex assignments requiring specialized knowledge and expertise in breadth and/or depth in one or more of the following areas: Actuarial and/or research methods, Advanced statistical analyses, Broad business knowledge, In-depth Line of Business knowledge, Awareness of enterprise Actuarial & Analytics community. This role may act as a manager of a small team.
As a Senior Business Analyst on the Business Insurance (BI) Actuarial Tools Team, you will be responsible for providing the needed support as we convert the Loss Analytics and Reserving (LA&R) team’s data, applications, dashboards, and analyses to a modernized cloud-based environment. As LA&R begins its modernization journey, you will assist in developing a vision by partnering with stakeholders and customers of various levels to build out cloud-based process solution requirements for data and tools that deliver business value. You will work collaboratively with our data engineers to ensure design, build and implementation supports current and future capability needs.
Specific examples include: use of broad based actuarial, business and technology skills to assist in driving strategy and vision, gathering current and future data usage patterns, analytic needs, and workflow by facilitating workshops, meetings, and/or interviews to build process requirements, support of the data engineering team to ensure requirements are well understood and solutions deliver the intended value, and partnering with customers to ensure seamless adoption.
