Travelers Europe has approximately 700 employees, most of whom are based in the heart of the City of London – known as the square mile or the home of insurance! We also have offices in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Glasgow and Redhill and one in the Irish capital of Dublin.
All of our offices provide open space that encourages collaboration and have agile workspaces which allow for greater flexibility through a modern approach to work.
Our European Business
Our business is comprised of two companies: (1) our insurance company, which covers the needs of our customers in the property and casualty sectors and (2) our Specialty business at Lloyd’s which includes Marine, Energy, Property, Aviation and Specialty coverages such as Marine Liability and Terminals, Hull and Yachts, Cargo and Specie, Power, Renewables and Upstream Energy, Kidnap and Ransom, Terrorism and Personal Accident and Aviation.
Everything we do here at Travelers Europe helps us execute on our values of being committed, connected, creative and energised as we strive to better serve the needs of our customers and brokers.
Employee Engagement
Employee engagement is one of our top priorities and we pride ourselves in cultivating a culture that makes us proud to work at Travelers Europe. We continue to attract great talent as we work towards becoming an Employer of Choice.
Environmental Leadership
We strive to adopt the highest standards of environmentally-friendly practices across all our offices. We are pleased to have been consistently recognised for our efforts in London’s Clean City Awards Scheme over past nine years. At the most recent awards, Travelers received the 2018 Chairman’s Cup – the highest accolade available – surpassing the ‘Gold Award with Special Commendation’ we won in 2017. The Clean City Awards have been running since 1994 with the aim of raising the profile of responsible waste management and recognising and rewarding good practice.
Corporate Citizenship
Being a good corporate citizen is fundamental to who we are as a company and giving back is a natural extension of the work we do every day. We support the charities and causes chosen by our employees. We also encourage our employees to get involved in the local community by giving them time off work to volunteer, either at special events or within our Reading Partners programme which helps local students develop their reading skills.
